A decorative Windmill to add to your garden.

If you are mounting to a fence like I did, use the negative box tool in your slicer. There is a wedge file for if you remove to much.

The base and chimney use BumpMesh by CNC Kitchen. Non textured stl's are also included allowing you to try your own textures.

Printing

The wind fin uses 2 Quarters or smaller coin as a counterweight to the blades. insert the coins at height 27.4 mm. I also recommend printing with a brim.

There are 2 options for the blades. Laser cut or printed. For the printed blades change the color and height 2.4mm.

Assembly Instructions

Add all of the bearing to the housing. The side bearings flanges should face out.

Using one of the M3 x 20mm bolts and a washer attach the base. It should spin freely.

Add the rotor through the housing and attach the hub with the other M3 x 20mm bolt and nut. The hole side of the rotor should not be on the cutout side. Tighten to remove play and prevent the nut from unscrewing.

Attach the blade mounts and blades with the M3 x 8mm bolts. One side of the mounts have smaller holes to allow the bolts to thread into.

Glue the wind fin in the cutout

Finally glue on the roof and chimney so the larger overhang is in the back.
