I wanted to share a work in progress. This is just the first test to see if a design like this would work. It's inspired by a psion 5 I had back in the day.

It's way oversized right now due to being designed as a universal case. The keyboard tray and the cell holder slide on 3d printed linear rails and are held together with rubber bands.  It will fit other mini keyboards as well.

It uses m3 bolts and nuts in various locations.

The keyboard used can be found here.

For this keyboard I used the kb_tray_front_long.  I've provided a short tray file for smaller keyboards.

The fit can be a little off and may require editing the rails and/or the sliding trays to prevent binding/coming off the track.

I've also included a keyboard bezel that fits the Doohoeek keyboard incase anyone want to use it in another project.

I will be redesigning this from scratch to fit my items so I don't expect to be updating this exact project.

Looking forward to seeing your remixes!
