The model is a simplified version of the Reliant Rialto chassis which supported a range of different fibre glass bodyshells. I modelled the chassis to see if it was possible to fit a modified Bond Bug fibre glass bodyshell to this unmodified chassis.
the various parts are provided as step files are are full scale. I have modelled my initial model at 6.25% (1/16th scale). I think this is the smallest scale if you are using a 0.4mm nozzle. Larger scales are better and look forward to seeing larger scales if anybody wants to attempt printing my model.
The front wheel swing arm and coil spring shock absorber parts can be used from the Bond Bug chassis model I have also produced to complete the chassis model.
A couple of modified Bond Bug bodyshell will be added very soon. There is no reason, however, that a Reliant Rialto or Robin bodyshell could be used with this chassis if someone can model one.
