Laser Auto Tracking Turret (CIWS Style)

This project is a study prototype inspired by naval Close-In Weapon Systems (CIWS). Instead of real weapons, it uses a laser pointer mounted on a turret that can automatically detect and track objects. The turret is controlled by RC servos (MG90S) for pan (left–right) and tilt (up–down) movement.

The design structure resembles a CIWS system, with the turret mounted on a stable support to ensure reliable movement. A Windows PC handles the vision and control logic through an HTML-based interface, while an Arduino executes servo commands.

Control System (Currently Under Study)

The control system is still being developed and studied. It will include:

  • PC-based vision and tracking logic to detect and follow targets.

  • Arduino servo control to translate PC commands into precise pan/tilt movements.

  • HTML interface for monitoring, manual override, and switching between automatic and manual modes.
