This is a model I worked up in blender to give me more freedom in the shape and overall design of battlemaps for my homebrew tabletop game. Multiple tiles fit together on the sides.
The hexagonal grid is one inch across the parallels of the individual cells with 1/32 of an inch between so that using a ruler is still close enough to measure ranges with.
I recommend printing it upside down with support at .15mm layer height or the center layer may be too thin. I also recommend printing in PETG for strength, slow down for overhangs, and a PLA filament as the support for easy removal from the plate. I Like to stick cupboard pads on the bottom to keep them from sliding around.
