The outdoor temperature sensors that come with the Marathon Atomic Clocks are oddly shaped, not terribly weatherproof, a pain to mount, and are dark grey in color.
This is just a simple casing with vents to allow for easy mounting of the sensor without using the poor mount they provide. Printing it in white also allows for better temperature readings, as it doesn't heat up in sunlight quite so readily, as well as offering it a little more protection from the elements. The lid simply friction fits together into the body.
This was printed in white Overture PETG with a 0.8mm nozzle at 0.4mm layer heights. Could easily be printed at a higher resoution if desired, but probably unnecessary for something like this.
