BLH-07 Hardball Terminator Edition

It's like the normal hardball but now it's a terminator reference.

Yup, it was a reference this entire time.

BUILD GUIDE:

https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1rXRvSU1CGtW3XrgD27BP_vR0ArvXyHxK7_wvF7E39KY/edit?usp=sharing

Additional required hardware/parts:

  • x3 m3 nuts

  • x3 m3x25 bolts

  • Superglue

  • Lube

  • (OPTIONAL BUT VERY RECOMMENDED) - Replacement pusher o-ring (xshot longshot pusher o-ring or equivalent. 14mm OD 10mm ID 2mm tube diameter.)

  • Strong small compression spring - For the magazine catch

FAQ

  • Will you be making a version of the xshot hardball that takes nightingale mags natively?

No. Turns out the stock nightingale side catch is pretty awful at being a catch. 31k/diana style catch is much bigger and works much better. I vastly prefer the 31k catch over this new nightingale sized catch. Plus, you don't have to use a new spring, the nightingale version REQUIRES a new magazine catch spring.

  • There's no text on my parts but there's text in your photos?

Add them in your slicer program of choice. IDK about the legality of this font and sharing it, plus it's not that hard to add text.

  • Why is the knob missing in the photos?

Shut.

  • Why is the build guide the same as the previous version of the Hardball?

90% of the parts are the same. Assembly process is the exact same as well, with 1 major change to the magazine catch. If you can assemble the xshot hardball you can assemble this one.

Magazine compatibility list:

FULLY COMPATIBLE:

  • Nightingale/Mini Angled Talon

  • Venom Pro and other dartzone mags

  • Xshot Thrasher mags - geometry is 1:1 with previous listed magazines but I have not personally tested them.

WORKS OK:

  • 31k mags longer than 10 darts

  • AIT "lightningale" mags - they have narrow feed lips, and cannot be inserted when the blaster is primed fully forward. Nightingale/thrasher/venom pro mags do not have this issue.

DOES NOT WORK:

  • Horizontal Print 31k Magazine

  • Red Cowl Compound Mag

  • Diana/Vesper mags - they don't have a nightingale/mini angled talon catch to begin with IIRC.

  • 10 round AIT lightning mags - bump on the back prevents insertion and they're too short.

CHANGE LOG

v1.00 - Release
v1.01 - Adjusted file sizes for "Rear Frame" and added a new option, "Rear Frame Smoother", if you find the faux grip safety annoying.
v1.02 - Changed grip geometry, as I found the original profile uncomfortable after prolonged use. Legacy grip with the bigger faux mag release bump is available.
