Alongside the parametric scripts to generate gridfinity boxes and containers i uploaded recently, here is a script to generate containers/bins.
A lot of things are changeable with a list of over 20 parameters at the top of the main script. An additional script can be used to batch export many differently sized containers at once.
All the pregenerated uploaded models use the default parameters, which are my preferred ones. They are optimised for lowest material usage and fast printing, while still providing good mechanical stabitlity when printed out of PLA.
Parameters for:
Size: width, depth, height; all in gridfinity units (42mm for w and d, 7mm for h)
Mounting: Magnet and/or screw holes in bottom of container
Stability: Wall and base thickness
Fingerslide: Style: full or minimal (only small cutout; position
Label plate: Style, size and position; can add 3d printed text on clippable label
Defaults: 1mm wall thickness, 3.4mm baseplate thickness, 25x12mm label plate, fingerslide on front of container, label plate with clippable plate to write onto as extra part, only magnet cutouts
