Have you removed the worthless trigger "safety" blade and long for a straighter trigger?

This two-part print is a very rough prototype of what I desire: a straight trigger pull, extended downwards, since I like to drag my finger across the bottom of the trigger guard (for speed control).

This is not the optimal configuration:the front part needs a bit of sanding / violence to get through the blade aperture, and ideally the back part of the front part needs to be raised a bit to act as a trigger stop. A "good" trigger moves back only past the point of breaking but no further - but that's a future project.

Currently the shoe serves its purpose: instead of having the absolute bottom tip of the trigger digging into my finger, I have 8mm of straight width to slowly pull back on. The shoe makes it feel like a completely new trigger, but without paying Timney prices.

Glue the pieces together and be happy. And don't worry.
