A detailed topographic circular model (medallion) featuring the historic walled town of Cuenca, Spain.
This ~11 cm model captures the dramatic geography of Cuenca, famously perched on a high rocky spur. It is specifically optimized for a two-color filament change (Color Change) without requiring a multi-material unit (MMU/AMS).
The secret to its visual impact is simple: if you print the first layer in blue, the deep canyons carved by the Júcar and Huécar rivers will pop beautifully, contrasting against the elevated landscape. The model is finished with an elegant circular border containing the city's name.
Key Features:
Diameter: ~110 mm (scalable in your slicer).
River Effect: The raised landscape terrain covers the blue base, leaving only the deep riverbeds visible in blue.
Easy Printing: Requires only a single planned filament swap (M600 command).
🎨 How to Achieve the Dual-Color Effect:
First Layer (Base): Start your print with a blue filament (representing the rivers).
Filament Change: In your slicer, add a Pause / Change Color command right after the first layer finishes.
Terrain Color: Switch to a contrasting color for the remaining layer
