I present the Cheesy Stands! A different way to store your shoes. Shoes are hold vertically in the cheese by the back portion. Surprisingly very stable.
I printed these using yellow kingroom PETG. I think PLA would have looked smoother and less shiny, but I did not have yellow color. I had orange in PLA, but I'm not a fan of chedar. The model took 126 grams of material and 3hr 44min at 5% infil. I think slowing down the printer would have produced a better print since this model has curves close to the ground, but it printed out great nonetheless. I printed with and without supports with similar outcomes. I don't think supports are needed.
This model has an opening for the shoe of 100 mm. The men's US size is 10.5 (EUR 44.5). Scale up or down by measuring the back portion of your shoe. Careful with running shoes. The sole is usually wider than the body of the shoe, so measure on the shoe sole.
Bonus: I added the Cheesy Wall Stand model. I have no pictures of this since there is no way my wife will let me hang this on the walls, but I thought it would look cool.
