I just needed a clean, simple way to protect my breathalyzer and stop the spare mouthpieces from floating around my car's glovebox. Since I couldn't find a case that fit quite right, I decided to design one.
I really didn't want to go hunting for random screws, metal pins, or magnets to put it together, so the whole thing is entirely mechanical:
Snap-fit hinges: The arms on the lid flex just enough to snap right into the base. Once on, they rotate smoothly up to 180°. => A bit tricky to put in place so you have to "force" a bit, feel free to modify if too complicated for you :)
Built-in latch: The front tab has a small wedge profile that deflects and locks in with a very satisfying "click".
It prints great in PLA or PETG (not tested). Supports are recommended for the hinges and for the text on the lid.
Just print it, snap it together, and it's ready to use. Hopefully, it helps someone else looking to organize their gear!
