--UPDATE--
There was a problem with the magnet holes so they are made bigger.
This is a compact 3D printable turntable bearing designed for smooth rotation and easy assembly.
The design uses a custom thrust bearing with 26 x 6 mm balls running in dedicated bearing races. The rotating top plate is attached using embedded magnets, making it easy to remove while remaining securely positioned during use.
The bearing assembly is held together by a central screw, while the bearing races remain unloaded by the clamping force. This ensures smooth rotation and minimizes friction.
The design was created in Fusion 360 and optimized for FDM printing.
Designed and tested on a Creality K1C using PETG-HF.
Inspired by the Turntable for 3D Scanning Modified by Payo-TensileCreator / DIVO3D.
This version was completely redesigned from scratch in Fusion 360 with a custom magnetic top plate and integrated ball thrust bearing.

Recommended Print Settings
Material:
PETG recommended
PLA may also work
Layer Height:
0.20 mm
Nozzle:
0.40 mm
Walls:
4 perimeters
Infill:
20–30%
Supports:
Not required
recommendation is to print the top bearing (the one with the magnets) upside down, so the magnet holes are downwards. this will result in a smoother bearing.
Assembly
Print all parts.
Clean the bearing races and remove any stringing.
Insert the 26 bearing balls into the ball cage.
Place the ball cage between the upper and lower bearing races.
Install the magnets into the top plate and top bearing.
Assemble the bearing and insert the center screw.
Tighten the screw until the assembly is secure.
Important:
The screw should clamp the bearing assembly against the base plate and not preload the bearing races. The bearing should rotate freely after assembly.
Notes
The bearing races are designed around 6 mm balls with a dedicated cage spacing the balls evenly around the circumference.
For the smoothest operation:
Ensure the bearing races are clean.
Use PETG for improved wear resistance.
Apply a small amount of PTFE lubricant if desired.
Fusion 360 Files
A Fusion 360 animation and STEP file are included to demonstrate assembly and design details.
Enjoy!
