A static display piece showcasing puzzle vault mechanics and hidden compartment functionality. Only specific parts will revolve.

Step 1: Prepare the Core Column

Align the hollow interior cylinder with its square roof-interface plate. Insert the cylinder into the recessed alignment slots of the plate, ensuring the orientation of the locking tabs allows the assembly to slide flush together.

Step 2: Build the Side Dial Sub-Assemblies

Each of the four side dials is built by nesting multiple concentric layers:

  1. Place the gold geometric center emblem into the middle of the large black outer dial disc.

  2. From the back, attach the secondary inner disc (the gray or red/brown piece featuring the gear-tooth hub).

  3. Secure these layers together so they form a single, rigid dial module. Repeat this for all four sides.

Step 3: Install the Dials and Side Panels onto the Chassis

Take your four completed side dial modules and mount them onto the main hollow box frame. Position one filigree decorative face plate over each side of the chassis, aligning the large center cutouts so the dials sit perfectly flush inside the circular panel frames.

Step 4: Attach the Bottom Plate

Align the bottom plate, the one with the unique scalloped gear-tooth rim, with the lower opening of the box chassis. Slide the plate upward so that the thick center emblem cutout glides around the bottom of the internal core column, mating flat against the floor of the box.

Step 5: Secure the Roof Panel

Finally, place the intricate, overlapping-ring roof panel onto the top of the chassis. Ensure the dimensions line up perfectly with the upper edges of the side panels to close the vault structure completely.
