This is a dispenser for hand-washing paste.

Since I always had to scoop my hand-washing paste out of a 10-liter bucket, I designed this dispenser. Its function is modeled after commercially available dispensers.

The design consists of the following parts:

  • Container

  • Piston at the bottom

  • Propeller for pushing the paste down

  • Rod

  • Lid

  • Handle

  • Cover for the hole in the lid

  • Wall mount

The rod is screwed to the piston at the bottom and to the handle at the top.
It's designed in a way that it does not require any support during printing.

Print settings

All necessary settings are already included in the All Elements.3mf file.
Alternatively, here are the required settings:

General Settings

Use PETG, 15% Cubic infill, 0.20 layer height. I've printed all Parts with the Balanced Profile.
The orientation can be found in the All Elements.3MF file.

  • Piston and Handle
Use variable layer height to achieve a layer height of 0.10 mm for the thread

Assembly

To assemble the rod, slide the propeller onto the piston, ensuring that the propeller is facing upwards. Then screw the hexagonal rod onto it. If the thread is stiff, silicone oil or silicone spray may help. Before fitting the handle, put the lid and, finally, the lid cover onto the handle and thread it on the upper side on the rod.
