The most recent design, files marked with "_simple_hinge" use just a 10mm length of 1.75mm 3d printer filament. Other things can be used for the hinge, such as a paperclip. The hinge is pushed into the holes and should 'click' into place once they are fully inserted.
Requires:
- 4x M2x10 socket cap bolts
- 4x 6x3mm magnets
Prints in 3 parts, no supports needed on an Ender3
To assemble, simple press fit the magnets into their holes. Take care to note polarity so that when assembled, the opposite poles face each other. Once magnets are in place, assemble the parts and thread screws into holes.
