This adapter allows you use the mounting holes on the side of a 3.5in high capacity hard drive and mount it in a location that requires the legacy 3.5in hard drive mounting hole location.
New high capacity hard drives moved the bottom mounting hole locations to accommodate additional platters.
This bracket is designed to use some M3 mounting hardware, including
- Threaded inserts
- M3x6MM Screws
It would be trivial to remix this to change the hole diameter for the threaded inserts for a 6/32 screw.
