This is a custom‑designed FXRT Fairing Vent Screen featuring a clean hexagonal honeycomb pattern, fully modeled from scratch to match the original aftermarket part. The design fits the FXRT‑style fairing and replaces the stock or custom vent grill.
I printed the prototype in PETG, which already works well outdoors, but the best results are obtained with carbon‑reinforced PETG (PETG‑CF) or ASA‑CF for improved stiffness, heat resistance and long‑term UV stability.
Recommended Materials
PETG (good)
PETG‑CF or ASA‑CF (superior)
Nozzle: 0.4–0.6 mm
Layer height: 0.20–0.28 mm
3–4 perimeters for strength
