I don't really mind hugging my CORE One L but it's a little awkward to reach the power switch. This allows me to toggle the switch from the side of the printer.
I used Prusament PETG with a 0.8mm nozzle at 0.4mm layer height. I used the standard filament settings apart from adding a perimeter and increasing the Infill/perimeter overlap to 45%. (I always increase this when using the 0.8 nozzle to fuse the infill more firmly with the inner wall. Especially important with bridging and overhangs.)
10-24 Metal parts: 1" RHMS & 9.5" of threaded rod. I had a small threaded knob on hand, but I could just as easily print something. (see Model files)
Step 1) Print and gather parts.
Step 2) Use 1" bolt as pivot axle. The bolt can thread itself into the holes, but I added a nylock nut just out of habit.
Step 3) Insert the body into the back of the CoreOne L. With the channel tilted up towards the switch, place the open end around and behind the switch itself and pivot the right side up to a horizontal position.
Step 4) Slide the keeper plate around the end of the channel, along the body of the printer. It will sit on the little metal tab, but will hold the channel in place on it's own. You can also add a little double stick tape to the back of the channel if you'd like.
Step 5) Thread the knob onto the end of the threaded rod. Insert the threaded rod through the hole on the channel. I added a little heat shrink as a buffer between the channel and the threads. Thread it into the ball joint in the pivot head.
Step 6) Push the knob in to turn on the printer. Pull it out to turn it off. :)
