How It Works

The Ergostring Pick is a high-performance, 1.5mm Extra-Heavy guitar pick optimized for the direct-to-consumer, 3D-print-at-home future. It features an oversized 35mm wide footprint with rounded top "ears" that maximize surface area, making it incredibly easy to grip and impossible to drop during high-energy playing. Anatomical finger anchors—a sunken 14mm thumb pocket on the front face and a 12mm index finger pocket on the back—leave a 0.9mm mechanical pinch-point that naturally locks into your hand to eliminate cramping. While the robust 1.5mm body provides extreme rigidity for fast picking and powerful low-end tone, the tip is custom-chamfered down to a precise 0.5mm edge, allowing it to glide effortlessly across multiple strings without catching. For standard users, the included .3mf file is pre-configured for a seamless, one-click print setup in slicers like Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Cura, or OrcaSlicer (recommended at 100% solid infill and a fine 0.10mm layer height). For creators and power users, the package includes the raw mathematical .step master file, serving as a perfect blank canvas that imports flawlessly into Onshape, Fusion 360, or Blender to scale dimensions, add band logos, or sculpt custom, character-driven artistic variations.
