For mounting a LRS 350 style PSU to 3030 extrusion frame - mine is a i3 style frame.

You may need to resize the inlet box - many seemed to use 40mm hole spacing but have various body widths. A very deep inlet may not leave enough space for wires, the one I used seems to be 19mm deep from the inside of the flange.

Print Settings

Tall layer height should work just fine, it'll just look worse and worse on the tapered area over the inlet. I inherited that feature and didn't want to change it just to increase printability.  I used 0.2 and 0.3 layer heights.

Materials

I had to print at 101.5% when printing in ABS for the LRS to fit properly - you may want to drop the model through the floor and just print the top of the structure to check the fit/scaling. I did not try it in PETG or PLA.  Note - usual ABS shinkage compensation is 100.5%.

BoM

If you use two bottom and one side attachment points to the 3030 frame....

  • 3 x tnuts (3030, M6)

  • 3 x M6-8mm bolts

  • 2 x M3 heat inserts

  • 2 x M3- flat head, countersunk (inlet)

  • 4 x M4-6mm bolts, socket/button head (attaching PSU)
