A simple holder for 1 x 2 x 12 inch inspection parallels to keep them covered and clean when not in use. The lid simply rests on the bottom (box) and is not latched. There is an optional pocket to hold paperwork if desired. It's a tight fit but there's just enough space on a MK3 bed to fit both lid halves with the purge block for doing color change text. Prusa slicer may not auto arrange this for you.

Prints in two halves and fits together in a not so simple way. The bowties will mechanically lock the joint  together and cannot easily be removed. However, these parallels are heavy so the joints should also be glued together with a strong adhesive. I used JB Weld because that was what I had on hand but a clear epoxy may have been better to hide the joint. If you decide to add the optional pocket it should be glued into it's slots in the lid for it.

Because the box and lid are large and rectangular you will likely get warping which will cause some issues with the joints. The bowties have significant length clearance but may need to be trimmed shorter to sit flush if warping is significant. Also warping may cause the joint to not come together flat. There will be some flex in the joint and you can weight it down with the rim on a flat surface while adhesive cures to fix this.
