Like @Athena_921199, I really liked the little stand that came with our Oxo Baby Brush, and was disappointed that I cannot use it any more, now that we've outgrown our bottle brush and switched to a longer brush with swappable brush heads. (This non-Oxo brush long-handled from Amazon).
I was inspired by the parent model's design, but have had bad experiences with trapped water beneath other large flat objects sitting directly on my sink in the past (:shakes-fist: @ that one contact lens box...). The simple answer would have been some stick-on silicone feet...
Instead, I wanted to try modeling TPU feet and ended up with this model. I have not had a long time to test this model yet, so it may require further revision in either dimensions or water handling over time.
Assembly
The parts all print easily with a broad flat bottom surface. Then, the TPU feetsnap into the Cappart, which in turn twists to lock into the bottom of the Body.
Printing
Straightforward. Each part has a broad flat bottom and does not require supports.
See attached .3mf project files for the settings I used.
The body and cap can be printed in any available filament, and do not require supports.
In my print, I customized the body with an extra perimeter on the first 3mm to strengthen the twist latching mechanism
Printed with the
0.2mm SPEEDprofile tweaked forCubicinfillI printed in PLA
No supports
The feet I printed in a 95A TPU to experiment. This is a bit stiff yet and doesn't have as much 'grip' on the counter as I might like, but grips far better than slippery PLA and leaves a nice gap for water to drain below the brush.
