Are you a luddite with an "old" classic wood chair and desk but the chair is too low for correctly ergonomic computer-use? Well then print four of these "platform shoes" for a stylish and ergonomic modification for your chair!
Dimensions:
Lift 1.85 inches
Inner diameter 1.30 inches (enough room for a 1inch chair leg with 3x 1/2 inch foam tape and/or angled leg)
2.50 inch foot print
To Modify Height Lift Amount:
Adjust Z scale
Adjust original Solidworks model
I used 3x small pieces of 1/2 inch foam tape glued to the inside at equal angles to make my shoes both removable but also hold when lifting the chair up for repositioning. (See Image)
As of this posting, these ASA platforms have worked for my daily office use for a full month.
Successfully printed in ASA at 0.28 mm layer height on a Bambu X1 Carbon. No Supports Required!
