This is a remix of the original variable pitch propeller mechanism
The original model is really good and I have more fun during printing it. But blade setting crank made me a bit angry - it was a bit cranky (lol) and if your planetary made of PLA, it flexing more than you need. It works as Robert Stanley intended, but I just try to add something cool to it.
So, first of all - crank arm and control gear was deleted with mounting place on the round enclosure part. Now it's just a flat round surface.
But I also add some stiffness to planetary and the way to spin it by your hand. Now you can adjust the blades by rotate the middle part of enclosure. This part also designed for cover the gears and now it's look like solid mechanism with planetary gears inside.
If you prefer original patent mechanism or open-gears style - choose original. Otherwise, you might be interested in my version.
Be careful with parts during assembly. Use grease, don't overtighten plastic threads.
And thanks a lot @ChrisB for this incredible creature.
