I made this bracket to mount a bin on the post for the table in my caravan, this keeps it off the floor and being kicked around.

I use a plastic bag in the bin to make it easy to empty.

My post is 60mm in diameter and I placed a sheet of paper between the mount and the post to stop the mount marking the post.

I printed it in PLA with an infill of 20%, but I did add a modifier around the the screws for 100% infill to provide strength and enough material for the self tappers to bite into when attaching the clamp to the main bracket (you need to drill pilots holes to suit the screws you are using). I used 1/4" mushroom head gutter bolts inserted from the bin side (so the bin bag has nothing to catch on) with 1/4" nyloc nuts, so they don't vibrate loose.

The bin I used was a Willow 7L White/Charcoal Flip Top Bench Tidy that I purchased from Bunnings (I'm in Australia) and it was around $8.
