One part of this device can be bolted to the ceiling, the other put inside and secured with a pin. The second part has a hole so that you can put a nail there and bend it so that you get a hook. Pin has to be attached to a rope. When the rope is pulled and pin slides out, then whatever is put on the hook drops.
