I have a bunch of saplings in the back yard and in the garden that I use rebar stakes to keep firmly rooted in strong wind. I wanted some caps to put on the end of the rebar so no one inadvertently hurt themselves when picking berries or just out in the yard. These seemed like an easy fix to make.
Designed for 3/8" rebar, these have a tapered inner cap to fit snugly, even if the end of your rebar is flared out from hammering. I added some knurling around the perimeter for grip.
Print these in ASA, ABS or PETG for strength, with minimum 5 walls on the bottom. Print these with the flat cap facing down.
One has a 'bad day' face, the other is smooth, print whichever you like most :)
Enjoy!
