since the steam machine is so gamecube like I really wanted a handle for it like the gamecube! Found the cad file for the steam machine chassis via valve created the handle in blender, pretty simple model and feels pretty solid printed on the horizontal orientation.
I should be getting my steam machine this week so I haven't had a chance to install it but using the cad files provided by valve it should line up.
Edit: Added a V2 with a slightly beveled edge around both the inside and outside edge
Edit 2: Made a new more rounded handle, also added photos of the original and the new rounded handle on my steam machine
