I love the design of the original cardboard box, but I never liked the plastic bag sitting loosely inside it. It looks untidy, shifts around, and doesn't make the box very practical to use. So I designed these inserts for both box sizes, turning the original packaging into a sturdy, reusable container. The provided files are compatible with 125G and 250G boxes.
I printed mine in Prusament PETG (Jungle Green) with a 0.15 mm layer height, and I recommend using a similarly fine layer height for the best surface finish. If you plan to use the insert long-term, materials such as PP or ASA are even better choices, as they can be smoothed more easily, reducing places where bacteria can accumulate. That said, as long as you wash your hands before reaching in, PETG should work just fine if you are not scared of the ocassional microplastic :D
Assembly is simple, just open the box, take out the bag, fold the flaps of the box down, put in the insert and finally pour in the salt.
