A true legend in aviation, the Lockheed Super Constellation is the culmination of the development of the piston engines airliners launched to counter the elongated version of the Douglas DC-6
the aircraft met a great commercial success with more than 850 units sold to airlines and armies in many countries
this ultimate version of the constellation is extended by 5 m, it can carry 15 tons more , has enhanced range and can fly 45 km / h faster .This was made possible by the installation of new powerful engines wright R-3350-972 of 3250 hp
