Transform your ordinary baseball cap into a futuristic fashion piece! This complete 3D printable hat accessory kit is designed for fans of cyberpunk, techwear, goth, and edgy alternative clothing. Whether you are creating a cosplay costume, prepping for a music festival, or upgrading your everyday streetwear, this modular heavy-metal decoration pack has everything you need to stand out.

🔩 Main Feature: Multi-Ring Center Ornament & Clip (1a +1b)

The centerpiece of this kit is the aggressive, multi-ring piercing and spike ornament designed for the front of the visor.

  • Two-Part Modular Design: The main decorative piece and the mounting clip are separated into two individual STL files. This smart split significantly reduces the amount of supports needed, leading to a much cleaner surface finish and less wasted material.

  • Easy Assembly: Simply print both pieces, apply a few drops of superglue (CA glue) to the designated contact area, and bond the ornament to the clip.

Bonus Minimalist Version Included: (1)

If you prefer a cleaner, more subtle look, the files also include a simplified version of the center clip without the spikes and piercings. You can rock the futuristic techwear aesthetic even without the aggressive metal elements.

📐 Side Accents: Cyber-Ribbed Visor Plates & Hoop Links (2a, 2b)

Give the sides of your visor an industrial, armor-like upgrade.

  • Cyber-Ribbed Plates: These side accents feature an aggressive wave/ribbed geometric pattern. They slide smoothly onto the left and right edges of the visor.

🔗 Smaller Accents: Two-Part Hoop Piercing Clip (3a, 3b)

For those who love finer details, this pack includes standalone modular accent clips.

  • Two-Part Snap Design: This clever accessory consists of two separate parts: the main brim clip and a loose hoop ring. No glue required!

  • Mechanical Assembly: Simply insert the hoop ring into the dedicated hole on the clip.

  • Versatile Placement: You can slide this clip anywhere along the edge of the visor to add subtle cyberpunk details or combine multiple clips for a stacked jewelry effect.

⛓ Advanced Feature: The Heavy-Metal Visor Chain (4a, 4b, 4c)

This is the ultimate detail for your cap, utilizing a clever multi-step printing technique to lock the chain directly into the visor clips without any weak joints.

  • How it works: The chain and the mounting clips are printed as a unified system, but in a specific sequence.

  • The Printing Trick (Pause at Height):

    1. First, you print the chain links separately.

    2. Then, you start printing the visor clips.

    3. Program a pause in your slicer (or pause manually) right before the upper loop of the clip starts to close and narrow down.

    4. Insert the pre-printed chain ends into the open loops of the clips.

    5. Resume the print. The printer will encapsulate the chain links, locking them securely inside the solid plastic clip forever.

😈 Crown Horns / Spikes (Two-Part Design) (5a, 5b)

Add some ultimate punk attitude to the top of your cap.

  • Two-Part Pin System: These horns are designed as a clever two-part assembly consisting of a base pin and the horn itself. No glue or sewing is required.

  • How to Mount: Simply push the thin base pin from the inside of the cap through the fabric mesh or a ventilation eyelet, and then firmly press the horn onto the pin from the outside. The friction fit keeps them securely attached.

🖨 Recommended Print Settings & Orientation

To get the best visual results and ensure the parts are strong enough to stretch over the visor, please follow these guidelines:

  • Crucial Orientation: Always print all the visor clips lying flat on their side. Printing them on their side ensures maximum layer strength around the bend, preventing the clips from snapping or breaking when you slide them onto the thick cap visor.

  • Supports: Minimal supports needed for the overhangs of the center clip. The split designs help keep supports to a minimum.

  • Chain Printing Tip: For the chain links, it is highly recommended to use a 0.28mm DRAFT profile (or faster print speeds). The Draft profile prints cleanly.

  • Filament: PETG is highly recommended. While PLA can be used, it tends to deform or stretch out permanently over time under tension. PETG provides the perfect balance of flexibility and strength, ensuring the clips stay tight on your visor without losing their grip.
