Each section is 215.20 mm (8.47 in) long, so about 6 sections make up a standard broomstick. Use a standard broom head.
The nubs slide into slots to keep the pieces together when disassembled. When linked via the nubs/slots, a group of 6 sections would take up roughly 150 mm x 250 mm (~6 x ~8 in), which will easily fit a suitcase.
The nubs need to be reinforced with M2x8 screws, otherwise you risk breaking them off. The model has nubs that can be left off, printed as separate pieces and installed with the M2 screws, or printed as part of the broomstick section model and reinforced with the M2 screws.
I recommend printing with a strong, stiff and heat-resistant material such as Polycarbonate (PC). PETG would work but the longer the assembled broomstick is, the more flexible it gets.
Also recommend >50% infill.
