This model was designed to mount a collection of thread spools to an openGrid organizer wall.
It consists of a printed snap with an angled hole that is designed to accept a 5mm rod. I used 5mm by 80mm stainless steel dowels (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BC8YW8ZM) , but there's no reason wood or plastic rods wouldn't work.
This model was made in FreeCAD 1.1 and the source file is included and has a VarSet that allows easy modification of the hole diameter and the rod angle.
