A functional design for an articulated robotic arm, perfect for educational electronics projects, kinematics programming, and microcontroller integration.

ASSEMBLY NOTES: This model has been physically tested. The provided .3mf files include specific slots designed to fit and glue the servo horns directly into the joints.

Based on our physical prototyping, you have two ways to assemble this:

  1. Standard Assembly (Glue): You can mount the servo horns directly into the pre-designed slots using a strong adhesive.

  2. Optimized Assembly (Recommended): During our testing, we found that modifying the pieces by manually drilling holes to use standard screws provides a much smoother, more reliable, and frictionless movement across all joints.

Hardware Used in Prototype:

  • Servomotors

  • Microcontroller(Arduino Uno) and breadboard.

  • Strong adhesive (for standard assembly) OR drill and screws (for optimized movement).
