This is a simple riser for the Baratza Encore coffee grinder. It makes using a gram scale butted up against the front of the grinder a little easier / smoother.
The riser itself is 1.5cm tall, and I recommend adding some adhesive rubber non-skid feet to the bottom, which can be found at any hardware store or on scamazon, which will add a couple mm in height.
There are recessed pockets on the top for the feet of the grinder to drop into. The tiny holes in the middle of each recess will created a stack of perimeter under each foot, adding vertical strength where it's needed and allow for very low infill.
Note that there is a front and back to this-- the encore's feet are spaced slightly wider in the front.
Optional parts:
x4 adhesive rubber no-skid feet
Printing:
PLA is fine unless this is going on top of something that might get hot.
I did 10% gyroid infill, with 3 perimeters. Given there's a stack of perimeter under each foot it should be fine. So far so good. If you want to beef it up, you could put a modifier cylinder under each foot and increase the infill there.
Print topside down on a textured plate with one bottom perimeter if you want to make it pretty.
You might want supports inside the recesses for the feet.
