Bill of Materials

  1. Unscrew the stock nozzle blockers off of the factory blocker mounts.

  2. Nozzle wipers for Elegoo Centauri Carbon (found on Amazon, Aliexpress, etc)

Assembly Instructions

  1. Remove Stock Blockers: Unscrew the original nozzle blockers from their factory blocker mounts.

  2. Transfer Blockers: Install those stock blockers onto this new printed adapter assembly.

  3. Assemble Platform: Slide the mounting platform onto the connector arm and secure it in place with a drop of glue.

  4. Mount & Wipe: Attach your Elegoo Centauri Carbon nozzle wiper (found on Amazon or AliExpress) and install the completed unit into your printer*.

    1. *Important: Use the Right-Sided Mounts on Nozzle 1, 2, and 4. Use the single Left-Sided Mount for Nozzle 3.

  5. Manually observe the platform height compared to the nozzle to ensure all mounts are properly seated.

My Print Settings

  • Material: PLA+ (Tested with hot parked nozzles; no heat distortion or melting issues observed).

    • Use a high-temp filament for pro models.

  • Layer Height: 0.08mm, the smaller, the better.

  • Infill: 100%

  • Supports: Not required but recommended  (unless you have your bridging settings perfected, which I don't lol).

  • Bed Adhesion: Ensure good bed adhesion due to small part footprints.

Observations

  • Waste Ramp V3 still fits with this mod attached. V2 and V1 may be close but may even reach in too far, causing it to get knocked off. I can't speak on behalf of other waste bins.

  • A small amount of filament may still build up on the buildplate-side of the nozzle. Still easier to clean than stock.

  • These have successfully knocked a blob off the nozzle prior to parking, preventing a possible bent nozzle.
