Explanation
I wanted a quick way to switch between the grate and the suction adapter. When we wanted to buy a skimmer, the way it attached to the rim bothered me, so I designed a skimmer that could be connected to the adapter instead.
Preparation
Screw the fixed adapter onto the pool outlet.
When using the skimmer, ensure that one of the curved sections marked with an arrow points vertically towards the water surface. The connection may therefore need to be slightly loosened to reach the position.

The skimmer uses the mounting points for additional support. The entrance is at the curved arrow.

The skimmer connection compensates for a 15° inclination!
Maybe a straight version will come out too.
BOM
Component | Dimensions | quantities |
Magnets | 8x3 | each 12 |
Countersunk screw (Skimmer) | EN ISO 4762 M3x12 | 6 |
Square nut (Skimmer) | DIN 562 M3 | 5 |
Print settings
Given the operating environment, I recommend ASA with three walls.
There should be two layers above or below the magnets.
A pause in the printing process is required to insert the magnets into the parts.

I incorporated reinforcements at all critical points (under the screw heads).
