The Color Verification Scanner uses multispectral sensing to capture and compare color information from physical materials, products, and surfaces. Designed for spatial, merchandising, and fabrication workflows, the scanner supports consistent documentation of finishes, comparison against reference samples, and verification of color across displays, signage, and environmental elements.

The system uses the Adafruit ESP32-S2 Reverse TFT Feather, and theAdafruit AS7343 14-Channel Light / Color Sensor Breakout - STEMMA QT / Qwiic. The device, which acts as a color analysis tool (AI-generated code), is powered by a Lithium Ion Polymer Battery - 3.7v 500mAh, and is connected via one STEMMA QT / Qwiic JST SH 4-Pin Cable (50mm long). The microcontroller and breakout board are held in place with 2.00mm screws.

The housing is printed in PETG. The housing is also printed without top and bottom layers. The infill is Gyroid. The tolerances between the top and bottom components need to be tight for a secure fit. The insert is printed in matte black PLA.
