I loved the idea of 3D printing a super powered version of those nostalgic childhood toys. No fly wheels, no batteries, no superior short darts. Just springs. This model manages to modify Orion Blasters' original Lynx design to use full sizes darts AND assembly with the exact same Out Of Darts Lynx hardware kit.
I say I loved the idea because I never could get this model exactly where I wanted it. Most of the gap is in the dart magazine. I don't like releasing a model I'm not 100% satisfied with, but I've also been sitting on this for too long. I hope you enjoy it. I welcome your improvements.
The magazine feeds OK. I bought a 4 pack of OMIO 12 dart clips. To make them fit between the aluminum rails I had to sand the bulging tops flush with the body of the clips as shown below.

Follow the stock Lynx build instruction video below. There should be very little deviation. On my build I did add a 'washer' of foam rubber to dampen the spring plunger strike during firing. This seems to have solved the plunger self destruction issues I was having.
This model is licensed as per Orion Blaster's instructions.
