This is an accessory for the Festool Double Track holder. Festool designed a nice double track saw guide rail holder. But, the rails sit loosely in their holder. If you need a snug secure fit, print this! It's a tpu insert that you need to adhere to the festool print. I used a few dots of CA glue in well placed area to secure the insert to the guide rail holder.
I recomend using TPU. I used a Bambu's TPU for AMS in green that maches the Festool green.
Print with 3 walls and it should print completely solid. 0.20 or 0.24mm layers works fine, too.
Installation:
Slide the insert in from the side to check fitment. I placed CA glue on the top and bottomm flat areas and it's worked well. You don't need to glue it in place but the insert will move around a bit when installing or removing the guide rails.
The fit will be snug but not too tight on the guide rails. There's about a 4.5mm gap for the guide rail ....providing a secure fit.
It fits perfectly with both the milwaukee and makita guide rails, too.
