I spent some time looking for files for a practice dragon staff. Unfortunately, the options I found were mostly paid STLs, along with people telling me to “respect someone’s hard work” or "make one yourself if it is so easy".
Well… it was.
I have almost no experience designing things like this, but since we’re talking about two decorative rings on a tube, not a recipe for enriching uranium, I figured I could probably manage. Few hours later, Version 1 was ready.
After several days of printing, I finally have a finished product, and I’m happy with how well it works.
The hub is split into several parts so it can fit on a 26 × 26 cm build plate. If you have a printer with a 40 cm or larger, you can print the hub as a single piece. If the one piece version isn’t available yet, it’ll be uploaded shortly.
Each head weighs a little over 400g, 40cm in diameter, have 22mm staff mount, and is intentionally very soft.

Feel free to modify the models however you like. Different infill, wall count, dimensions, shapes. You’re free to experiment.
For gluing the parts together, I recommend polyurethane glue. Superglue will also work, but joints will partially crack after some use.
I’ll probably add a few more designs and shapes over time,
You are free to print these models for yourself, print them for other people, sell them, or give them away.
