This stripper can be used to cut parallel strip, usually used in rc plane or for cardboard. While designing my own stripper, I figured out I wanted to have quick, reliable access to fixed dimensions.

BOM (per stripper)

  • 4x Heat-set insert M3*4*4 (any M3 insert with a 5mm diameter will work)

  • 4x M3 x 8mm screw

  • 1x X-Acto blade #11

Assembly

  1. Press a heat-set insert into each hole on the main body.

  2. Pass a screw through each hole in the pressure plate.

  3. Before fully tightening the screws, slide the X-Acto blade between the two middle screws.

  4. Press down on the pressure plate with your finger and angle the blade so it doesn't protrude.

  5. Push the blade into the bottom plastic piece so it's held in place .

Note:  only the two middle bolts are strictly necessary, using just those two should work fine.  Pressing with your finger keeps the blade parallel.

Available Sizes

The stripper is exported in the following widths: 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 mm.

If you need a different size, you can generate your own using the Fusion 360 parametric function (see her for instructions). Custom dimensions will also update the engraved text automatically; works with both metric and imperial units.

Bonus

A small Gridfinity storage bin is included to hold the strippers (only for basic dimensions but you can edit it).
