Easythreed K7 - Z-Axis Support Mod This fixes the "flying arm" sag that causes mechanical backlash and deformed circles. A right-side support keeps the X-axis level.
Hardware:
1x Linear Rod (6mmx300mm)
2x LM6UU Bearings
Silicone glue
Print Settings: Parts are designed for a tight friction fit. Set your slicer's XY tolerance (Horizontal Expansion) to -0.1 or -0.12 mm so the rod and bearings snap in perfectly. Print slowly (30 mm/s or 20 mm/s).
Installation: To avoid Z-binding, assemble everything without gluing first. Move the Z-axis up and down manually so the rod finds its natural vertical alignment. Once aligned, fix the bottom base to the printer using silicone.
