This uncapping roller is inspired by a tool that my grandfather showed me. I designed it to be assembled with glue, but, to my surprise, I assembled it and it didn't need any. I was honestly surprised how well the handle halves fit together. If I wanted to take the handle apart, I would have to pry at it with a flathead screwdriver. The print file includes four small pins that hold the two parts of the handle together, and they seem to do their job.

For reference, the roller is 4 inches (10 cm) wide

I printed it with all basic settings except for increasing wall thickness by 1 and making it honeycomb infill (for obvious reasons.) No supports needed.

I have not been able to test it yet as neither of my hives are anywhere close to being ready, but the roller part rolls well, and the handle stays together well, so I have high hopes for it.
