StrataPod QuickLock is a compact modular container family built around a rounded-square, anti-roll body and a recessed three-lug bayonet lid.
The protective top collar shields the closure from knocks, while two clean oval finger pads in the lid provide a positive thumb-and-index pinch grip for opening and closing. Every body uses the same shared lid.
INCLUDED SIZES
• Ø34 × 20 mm usable interior — approx. 54 × 54 × 23.4 mm external body
• Ø34 × 30 mm usable interior — approx. 54 × 54 × 33.4 mm external body
• Ø34 × 40 mm usable interior — approx. 54 × 54 × 43.4 mm external body
• Ø34 × 50 mm usable interior — approx. 54 × 54 × 53.4 mm external body
• Ø34 × 60 mm usable interior — approx. 54 × 54 × 63.4 mm external body
• Ø34 × 70 mm usable interior — approx. 54 × 54 × 73.4 mm external body
• One shared 44.5 × 44.5 × 6.25 mm QuickLock lid
FEATURES
• Original rounded-square StrataPod design
• Six useful heights with the same Ø34 mm interior
• One shared lid fits every size
• Recessed three-lug bayonet closure
• Approximately 38° locking rotation
• Two 16 × 10.5 mm fingertip grip recesses, 1.6 mm deep
• Sculpted anti-roll body with flowing protective bands
• Two-piece container; each part prints as one piece
• Support-free orientation
• High-resolution, closed manifold STL geometry
• Blender source included
HOW TO USE THE QUICKLOCK
Align the three lid entries with the body lugs, press the lid fully into the recessed collar, and rotate approximately 38° until it reaches the locking pockets. Reverse the movement to open it.
Do not force the mechanism. Let both parts cool completely, then remove any stringing, elephant foot, or small edge burrs before the first assembly.
RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Layer height: 0.20 mm; use 0.16 mm for the cleanest lock detail
• Line width: 0.42–0.46 mm
• Walls/perimeters: 4
• Top and bottom solid layers: 5–6
• Infill: 12–18% gyroid or cubic
• Supports: none
• Brim: optional 4–6 mm for the 60 and 70 mm bodies
• Elephant-foot compensation: 0.15–0.25 mm recommended
ORIENTATION
Print every body upright, exactly as supplied.
Print the lid with its exterior top face flat on the build plate and the open locking side facing upward. The two finger-pad openings therefore face the build plate. Keep the first layer clean and avoid excessive squish.
DEVIL DESIGN PET-G STARTING PROFILE
• Nozzle: 235 °C, or the temperature specified on your spool
• Bed: 75 °C
• Part cooling: 30–45% after the first three layers
• First-layer speed: 15–25 mm/s
• Outer-wall speed: 35–50 mm/s
• Retraction: use the calibrated PET-G value for your printer
• Dry the filament if stringing, bubbles, or rough surfaces appear
FIRST FIT TEST
Print the 20 mm body and shared lid first. If the fit remains slightly tight after removing edge burrs, scale only the lid in X and Y to 100.5%. Keep Z at 100% so the locking height does not change.
IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
The geometry has been digitally validated as closed manifold components with no boundary or non-manifold edges. The body and original QuickLock interface have been physically tested; the revised fingertip-recess lid keeps the same locking geometry but has not yet been physically test-printed.
This design is not claimed to be waterproof, airtight, food-safe, pressure-resistant, or suitable for medicine, hazardous materials, or safety-critical use.
