Create plates with any text, put together from single letters, and place them on a display stand for exhibitions, learning games etc.

The bottom line is not only for decoration, but you can clip on small pieces with additional information like pronouns, dates etc.

Customization

  1. Open file LetterBoxStart.3mf with Slicer (it was created using Prusa Slicer)

  2. Change properties of text element to desired font and size.

  3. Change text so that it contains letters with the heighest and lowest border.

  4. Align the lower boundary of the text with upper boundary of element "Help Bar"

  5. Change the height (Y) of background plate to height (Y) of text plus 23mm, align lower boundaries of background plate and help bar.

  6. Save

  7. For individual letters

    1. change text to desired letter

    2. change width (X) of background plate together with element "small bar" to width (X) of text element plus 6mm.

    3. if not already done: give all elements the same X-position for centering

    4. save, slice and print

  8. The length of the rails (together with stand in LetterBoxLR) can be changed in Y-direction to fit desired word length.

Example is given for font Sergoe UI, height 50mm, letters a-c and A-C and letters for "Birne".
