Adjustable Ikea Markus armrest extenders.
Bill of materials for 5 cm of adjustable range per armrest:
Buy:
4 x M8 bolts. I used these.
Print:
20 x spacer
4 x chair cap
8 x arm insert
4 x bolt cap
If you have shorter bolts, print less spacers (4 less per 1 cm). If your bolt heads don't fit bolt caps, design your own, or adjust in the FreeCAD document, or maybe don't use these at all.
How to assemble:
1. Remove stock armrest bolts
2. Put on char caps onto insert that bolts screw in
3. Plug arm inserts into eyelets of the armrest
4. Put bolt caps onto bolts.
5. Put on spacers on bolt if you want armrests than maximum range.
6. Thread the bolts through armrest eyelets
7. Put on the rest of spacers
8. Screw the bolts in
