This road cycling bookmark is inspired by one of the most iconic experiences in cycling: climbing through the mountains on a winding road.
The design combines a road cyclist, dramatic mountain scenery, and a sequence of sweeping curves to create a simple but highly recognizable cycling-themed piece.
The model has been specifically designed for two-color printing. Black and white PLA are used at different heights so the final print reproduces the high-contrast appearance of the original artwork. Because the colors change by layer, no AMS or multi-material unit is required — simply pause the print at the appropriate height and change the filament.
The finished model has a total thickness of approximately 2 mm, making it thin enough to work well as a bookmark while still providing enough rigidity for regular use.
Recommended settings:
0.4 mm nozzle

2 mm total model thickness
Print directly on the build plate

For the best visual result, use two PLA colors with strong contrast. Black and white provide the closest result to the original design.
