This is a flat flooring transition strip used to transition flooring of the same height but differing colors/styles, for instance vinyl plank flooring where it meets other vinyl plank flooring of a different style.

To fit on small print beds it has to be printed on it's side in a spiral, so this only works with flexible filaments like TPU, it won't work with hard filaments like PLA.

To use it, you print it out and cut it to your desired length, then you can either glue it down with something like liquid nails and tape it to hold it in place until it dries. Or you can do what I did and use clear mounting tape cut to size, I used gorilla invisible hold mounting tape for mine because it's so thin (1mm).

NOTE: the mounting tape will be wider than the strip so you'll have to cut it roughly in half, I just stuck one side to my flooring strip then cut it with a razor while it was on the strip, TPU is tough enough that the razor won't hurt it if you don't press down crazy hard.

TIP: after printing, to get it to be straight, I like to wind it up in the reverse of how it printed and keep it that way for about an hour. Then after that it will be flat and not want to curl up in the shape it was printed it.

 Print settings:

TPU ONLY, 95a works great.

Print slow, around 30-50mms (unless you're using 95aHF in which case you can go around 100mms+)
